Artist Requirements:
-The artist must have his/her Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certification. This certification is an OSHA requirement that certifies that the artist has been thoroughly trained how to use needles, how to dispose of them, and how to create and sanitize the environment by which the needles or pricks are to be used.
-The artist must present his/her resume and a well-organized portfolio for review. There is no maximum or minimum amount of work that you may present.
-The artist must have proof of apprenticeship from his/her pupil. The pupil must be registered as a licensed professional tattoo artist. Access to this information is available online.
-The artist must also be a registered, licensed professional tattoo artist. The artist must have knowledgeable experience of how to operate tattoo equipment, as well as sterilize and sanitize the working environment. If the artist's license is currently expired, we are more than willing to work with the artist to renew his/her license.
Other Requirements:
-The artist must be of the legal age of 18 to be employed.
-The artist must provide his/her transportation.
-The artist must sign a non-disclosure agreement.
-Experience of 3 years or more is a plus.
